Aside from College of Notre Dame of Maryland, where I am currently employed as an Associate Professor in the Communication Arts department, I have taught at the Maryland Institute College of Art, the University of Maryland, College Park, and Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

I teach a variety of Media Studies courses including Mass Media and Society, Media Criticism, Social Media in the Digital Era, Media Literacy, Writing for the Web, and Studies in Popular Culture. I also teach a variety of Film Topics courses, such as Art of the Film, Contemporary Japanese Cinema, Film Noir, and The Documentary.
